If you’ve passed by the Bubbly Mermaid Oyster Bar on D Street and 4th Ave. without noticing it as your next best bite, you’re not alone. But if you haven’t heard of it yet, you’re just not hanging around the right people. The oyster bar, which opened in July of this year, isn’t advertised by anything other than word of mouth. So, consider this article one local foodie’s testimony of a place that I am so grateful to have heard about.
