Next Friday, Ash and I are having our first joint show, "Taking a Walk," at the Alaska Humanitites Forum! The opening will be complete with light snacks and libations and feature some of the work that we've done over the past year. Ash and I are both very different as photographers, and we hope that the show will really exemplify this. Ash is very conceptual--she thinks about a given photo for weeks or months sometimes before she takes it. I am more fluid in my photographic style; I enjoy meeting subjects and just allowing the moment to happen when I know exactly what to frame and how. I hope everyone will see that both of these styles aren't at war with each other but coexist like we do--in harmony and love.
